Overall my conclusion is the following.
The worldwide increase of multiple diseases like cancer, chronic inflammation, auto-immune disease, arthritis, high blood pressure, fatigue and so on and so on... are mainly caused by one thing.
THE FOOD
If someone would have told me a couple years ago.. something like.. hey.. you should really eat more vegetables and fruits... I simple would have smiled with an answer like that: it's all right boy... chew your hamster food but leave me alone.
Today I know how foolish I was... today I know how POWERFUL THE IMPACT OF FOOD is. I tested it on my own over a couple of month with a specific diet and I couldn't believe how fast the cells of my body have reacted.
When I am talking about vegetables and fruits and I am talking about ORGANIC FOOD ONLY. Not in any way processed, or treated. No pesticides - just raw and as fresh as possible.
I am a big fan of meat - chicken, turkey, beef, lamb, pork... but I personally try to eat as less meat as possible... no meat at all wouldn't be wrong when I look back to all the research work I did. But it's just my personal choice to eat meat once in a while, like one day a week,
The best study I've seen so far, and what convinced me that eating meat isn't really a good choice... was basically the study of Dr. Colin Campbell. I refer to the documentary Forks over Knives.
And I can't say it more often... even when you eat meat, don't eat processed meat... and no treated meat... what means, animals didn't get any kind of antibiotic substances, no steroids, and no other chemical treatments.
My conclusion is also that we should avoid all kind of grains... what basically contains every bread. No grains, no gluten - I know that many people try to eat gluten-free products. I am not really a fan about gluten free products. The reason is clear... usually even gluten-free products are many times processed. Look at the ingredients and be your own judge.
The conclusion is also to avoid fried products - as instance.. it's fine to cook potatoes in clean water.. water that doesn't contain any kind of chlorine, or other bad substances. I prefer to use distilled water. But it's not a good idea to fry the potatoes. What basically means: avoid fried food.
My conclusion is also that the amount of dairy products is simple to much.
My diet suggestion is clear for that. It's fine to have a yoghurt from time to time, it's fine to drink a glas milk once a week.... but I would not drink milk on a daily basis, and I would not eat cheese and all other possible dairy products on a daily basis.
My conclusion is to cut sugar. The amount of sugar we consume on a daily basis is just to much. Just remember yourself at the end of a day, how much sugar you think you consumed... how many pop drinks did you have, candies, sweets, etc. If you are craving for sugar, then you simple don't get the right nutrition.
The power of greens.. is one of the most important things I realized. When you juice fruits or vegetables you should always have some greens in it. Greens have lot's of power, lot's of proteins, vitamines, minerals, etc. I personally suggest a ratio of about 60:40 percent.
What means... 60% fruits : 40% greens.. or 60% vegetables : 40% greens.
I will post more about all the above listed conclusion points - this is just a rough overview.
When you read some of the books listed below, it will all make more sense for you.
But so far, you can think about my personal conclusion or take it as a guide. I am pretty sure, it will help you a lot.
